I’ve helped writers at all stages of their careers, from those just starting out, to published authors. I gained experience of assisting new and intermediate writers whilst directing Storyslingers writing group, and since studying an MA in Writing for Young People I’ve assisted several professional authors.

Mentoring: from £62 per session
Similar to an MA Writing experience. You’ll be set exercises, get feedback, learn about how to find an agent or publisher, or how to self-publish, as well as receive tips on self-promotion. I’ll see you through a project in the same way an MA manuscript tutor sees their students through their MA. Book by the session or term.
Feedback: short stories from £50 | novellas £325 | novels from £550
Go for this option if you’d like feedback on your writing. I’ll look at pacing, characterisation, structure, theme, style, and basic grammar and formatting.
Book Design: full projects from £995, pre-designed covers from £30
Professional layouts and covers for fiction, poetry, non-fiction and reports. I’m able to arrange professional printing, sort out ISBNs, and provide artwork files.
